Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Medirevs collects through this website, medirevs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Doctorevs and Dieti have their own privacy policies on their own websites.

Who we are

Medirevs is based in Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana. You can reach us about privacy at info@medirevs.com or +233 55 868 2920.

What we collect

We only collect information that you choose to send us through the forms on this website:

  • Demo requests: your name, email address, phone number, organisation, country, role, the areas you are interested in, and any notes you add.
  • The AI-EHR waitlist: your name, email address, facility name, country and role.
  • The contact form: your name, email address, facility, role, subject and message.

We do not ask for health or medical information. Please don't include personal medical details in your messages.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, so that the site can be delivered and protected from abuse.

How we use it

  • To reply to your message or request.
  • To arrange and follow up on product demonstrations.
  • To tell you when a product you joined a waitlist for becomes available.
  • To understand interest in our work and plan our services.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run this website:

  • Google: form submissions are stored in Google Sheets within our Google account.
  • Vercel: hosts this website and processes the technical information described above.

These providers may store and process information outside Ghana. We only share with them what is needed to run the website and handle your requests.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising trackers. We use local storage in your browser to remember your optional-cookie preference. This storage is used only for your privacy choice.

Our contact page can show a map from Google Maps. The embedded map stays blocked until you accept optional cookies. Rejecting optional cookies leaves it blocked, and you can still use the rest of the website. Once it loads, Google may set cookies and collect information under Google's privacy policy.

We store your choice and the time it was saved under medirevs-cookie-choice-v1 on this browser. We ask again after 180 days. Clearing browser storage removes this preference. If storage is unavailable, your choice lasts only for the current page session.

You can change or withdraw your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting removes any loaded map and prevents further embedded-map loading. It cannot undo information already sent to Google or delete cookies Google has already set; you can manage those through your browser settings.

Links to other websites, such as Doctorevs, Dieti and our social media pages, are governed by those websites' own policies.

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions only for as long as we need them for the purposes above, and we delete them when they are no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Under Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your information;
  • stop using your information for a particular purpose.

To make a request, email info@medirevs.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Security

This website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit access to form submissions to the Medirevs team. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

This website is intended for adults and healthcare professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
