Microscopy & Imaging

The Medirevs Imaging System brings hardware and software together in one digital microscopy project, from image acquisition to reconstruction. Developed through our hardware collaboration with the University of Ghana engineering team, with our software handling data acquisition and image reconstruction.

Imaging for real-world applications.

  • Stain-free live imaging

Reveal details in living cells, microorganisms, and suitable transparent samples without adding chemical stains.

Cell cultures · Microbiology · Transparent specimens

  • Track changes over time

Follow dynamic processes such as cell division and microbial movement through repeated imaging of the same sample.

Cell growth · Microbial motility · Treatment studies

  • Applications across fields

Explore how imaging could support agricultural research, materials studies, and biotechnology, alongside biomedical research.

Agriculture · Materials science · Biotechnology

From acquisition to reconstruction.

  • Acquire

Use our software to acquire image data from the microscopy hardware.

  • Reconstruct

Reconstruct images from the acquired data in the same software.

  • View results

Review reconstructed images and results in the same interface.

Building with the University of Ghana engineering team.

Medirevs is collaborating with the University of Ghana engineering team on microscopy and imaging hardware development.

The hardware is being developed as the acquisition component of our digital microscopy project. Our software handles data acquisition from this hardware and reconstructs the acquired images.
